■Major programs:

  1. Demonstration and extension of Tsips-produced / developed products and the related studies.
  2. Execution / management of the seed processing and storage programs and the related studies.
  3. Execution of field inspection and interior testing as well as issuing certificates of International Seed Testing Association (ISTA) according to International Rules for Seed Testing.
  4. Studies on seed testing techniques and the related international communication and cooperation.
  5. Studies on seed treatment techniques and the related application.

♦Execution of field inspection and laboratory seed testing as well as issuing certificate of International Seed Testing Association (ISTA) according to International Rules for Seed Testing.

  1. Seed testing within Seed Multiplication and Certification System. Field inspection and interior seed testing are conducted on paddy rice, peanut, soybean, corn, sorghum and so on.
  2. Conduct the seed testing for quality examination of marketing seeds and ornamental plant seeds.
  3. Conduct the seed testing for ISTA certificate application.

♦Studies on seed treatment techniques and the related application.

  1. Works on the processing technique for promoting the seed quality and implementation of technology commercialization.
  2. Technique development of seed coating / pelleting, organic agent of seed coating, diverse / comprehensive processing, seed vigor tests, increasing vitality seed processing etc.
