♦Development of breeding and key techniques of bulbs flowers and orchids

Taiwan Seed Improvement and Propagation Station (TSIPS) is quite suitable for the development of ornamental plants such as orchids and bulbs flowers, therefore, different subtropical orchids and bulbs
flowers types are introduced for cultivation and conducting breeding and related techniques development.

♦Vegetable breeding and technology development

TSIPS aims for breeding new varieties for improving crop quality and yield, as well as resistance to diseases and environmental stress. We have been collecting and improving vegetable varieties of cruciferous, solanaceous and cucurbitaceous. We hope to improve farmers' income and reduce losses by providing them different kind of varieties.
