Achievement：TSIPS dispatched 2 stuff members to visit the Netherlands to study on breeding and production system of bulb flowers in May. They visited Naktuinbouw, DUS testing institute of the Netherlands, to understand the development of new varieties of bulb flowers of the current station. They also veisited Wageningen University and Research Center ( Wageningen University & Research) for learning breeding techniques in recent years. Besides, they visited 4 traders, 3 breeding companies and pot flower production company of bulb flowers. Though the visit and study, it is learned how the Netherlands built their Dutch bulb flower kingdom and the 400-years experience of flower bulbs industry. We hope it could be applied to the potential bulb flowers in Taiwan to create and expand Taiwan's bulb flower industry.
