Establishment of marker assisted selection applied to the selection of drought-tolerant maize and heattolerant tomato
In this project, the collected maize germplasms are analyzed focusing on the SNP of the target gene fragment. According to the alignments of the sequencing data, the SNPs (A/G) indeed exist in the target gene region of the tested material (Fig. 1). The relations between the SNPs and the seedling drought tolerance performances are investigated in this stage.
