High Quality and Stress Tolerance Breeding in Tomato.

  1. Twenty-five tomato lines were cultivated in medium and evaluated for disease resistance, plant type, taste, and other characteristics. Twenty-five cross combinations were completed, and seed preparation was carried out.
  2. Fourteen tomato lines were evaluated for bacterial wilt disease resistance. After inoculation and assessment of disease susceptibility, three disease-resistant line combinations were selected.
