The performed of 15 tomato S3–S4 generations breeding lines were to field selection was based on resistance to Tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV) and bacterial wilt during the summer growing season. Therefrom these were selected to 4 disease-resistant of lines.

The disease-resistant an plants were selected from high-generation lines and backcross lines, advance hybrid pollination combination.
