Breeding of New Papaya Varieties for Net House Production
In order to increase the diversity of the main papaya seed varieties currently sold for export, this project plans to continue the results of the previous project and select and breed papaya strains that are suitable for facility production, high yield, resistant to storage and transportation, disease resistant, and have dark flesh color. This year, we will evaluate the hybrid material strains of high-quality and largefruit papaya strains and establish trial crossing materials of virusresistant strains.
