Research on Germplasm Maintenance and Industrial Application of Vegetative Propagation Crops
- Produced 2,000 tissue culture-derived, specific pathogen-free seedlings each of white-flowered and yellow-flowered chrysanthemum morifolium, and supplied them to the Miaoli Tongluo Farmers' Association for field establishment and seedling multiplication.
- The effects of initial shallot bulb size on subsequent bulb production performance were evaluated. Results showed that the use of tissue culture-derived seedlings with initial bulb diameters of ≥4 mm enhanced bulblet production.
