2025 Research Project List
Domestic production of strawberries is often caused by high temperatures and humidity in summer, as well as the difficulty of cleaning and maintaining the open-air nursery environment, which causes serious harm to the seedlings such as anthracnose and leaf blight. Most of the primary sources of these diseases originate from the seedlings, so healthy seedlings are the fundamental solution. The solution to the problem is to promote the introduction of healthy seedlings into the industry and improve the growth potential of strawberry seedlings. This project hopes to achieve the results of healthy seedlings and improved quality through modular cultivation and management operations, and to guide the industry in transforming into the production of healthy seedlings. And supply farmers with cultivation. This project is expected to establish a precise and healthy strawberry seedling cultivation module to evaluate the effect of media and fertilizer management on the health of strawberry seedlings, and to mix different media to improve the initial development of strawberry root systems by using professional properties. At the same time, it will also evaluate the introduction of healthy nursery fields. Feasibility of five-ring management. This year, we evaluated the effects of steam-disinfected and non-disinfected strawberry seedling substrates, along with their physical properties, on the growth of tissue-cultured strawberry plantlets. The results provide valuable insights for nursery producers in acclimatizing and cultivating these plantlets. Additionally, we offered guidance to nursery producers to improve the establishment rate of G1 seedlings.
