Achievement：TSIPS dispatched 2 DUS examiners to visit Indonesia institutes related to Plant Breeders' Rights protection and breeding of ornamental crops. Those institutes included ‘Centre for Plant Variety Protect and Agriculture Permit Services’, ‘Manoko DUS Testing Station’ and ‘Ornamental Crops Research Institute (Balithi)’. During this visit, DUS examiners of both sides exchanged information on the current situation of the protection of variety rights, relevant laws and regulations, application and review process and the construction of the technical ability of variety verification. We hope that through this cooperation both sides could harmonize methods of DUS testing and TGs(Test Guidelines) and go toward further cooperation.
