Analysis of the arrangement of Nectar Plants under the Climate Change.

In recent years, due to global warming and climate change, the nectar plants in winter are becoming less and less, and the production of the bee industry is becoming more unstable. In order to cope with the winter needs of the domestic nectar source, the government actively encourages the planting of flowering green manure crops in the fallow field or winter leisure period. In addition to maintaining the land fertility and sustainable agricultural development, it also provides beekeepers with a safe nectar source.

We counted seed receiving, green manure setting area, actual setup status, and green manure distribution in Taiwan counties and townships. This year we completed the inventory of green manure in northern and eastern Taiwan, and this information can show the hot spots and gaps of nectar plants(Fig. 1). For providing nectar plants’ distribution, we completed the establishment of nectar plants information comparison system. Next,we will test and grafually correct the system for providing more detailed location information of beekeepers(Fig. 2).
