Since 2017, TSIPS started cooperating with Department of Animal Industry (C.O.A.) to conduct sampling inspection on imported GM and non-GM feed. The feed products declared as GM will be screened for six common GM specific elements. On the other hand, the non-GM feed will be examined by event-specific method, including 17 GM soybean events or 26 GM maize events, for ensuring the consistent quality of imported feed.
