Establishment of techniques to reduce waste and create valueadded utilization of tomato seed processing by-producet and seasonal overproduced tomato.

(1) In this project, a large-scale dryer is used to dry the remaining waste at low temperature. In addition to reducing the volume, it is convenient to store the raw materials and retain the nutrients of tomatoes.. And develop tomato waste reduction technology, collect and use the remaining agricultural wastes such as the peel and pulp of the seeds, and use the low-temperature dryer to use the principle of dehumidification to dehydrate the remaining tomatoes and drain the moisture, and adjust the moisture content to about 10-12% , And then pulverized into small particles to reduce the volume and weight for storage.

(2) As a result of the test, after 100 kg of tomato remaining agricultural waste is reduced, 5 kg of tomato powder products are available for use. The tomato powder is frozen and stored for 6 months, and the product is kept in good condition and still has a tomato aroma. Subsequent use of tomato powder in different proportions of 1%-8% is added to the feed, sold in 2 kg small packages for farmers to raise laying hens, and the value-added application of poultry feed technology development.
