Improvement on the Micropropagation Technique - In vitro propagation of avocado (Persea americana Mill.) through apical buds and nodal segments
This project established tissue culture propagation technology for avocado (in Haas and Hall varieties), and the test of reducing browning conditions of two varieties, and explants pretreated with 100mg/L Vit. C+150mg/L citric acid soaked for 15 mins was the best, and the browning rate is reduced by 70% after four weeks. In the part of the induction results of the cultivation, the‘Haas’was induced calli by lateral buds. ‘Hall’was induced calli and shoots by lateral buds.
