Recycling of surplus materials from tomato and pumpkin productio

This plan aims to implement the reuse of surplus materials from agricultural production, and to solve the problem of disposal of agricultural surplus materials and agricultural waste. An agricultural and animal husbandry recycling demonstration center is established. The location is located in the livestock farm of Pingtung University of Science and Technology. The plan is to stabilize the supply of front-end raw materials and the utilization of rear-end animal breeding resources, develop tomatoes and pumpkins rich in lycopene and carotenoids, and feed laying hens and laying ducks in the form of feed additives. This plan has gone through 1 After more than 10 years of feeding, the effect is good. The raised layer chickens start to lay eggs at the age of 18 weeks, and the feed can be maintained until 90 weeks old with the addition of tomato and pumpkin powder. The highest egg production rate is 96%, which has greatly improved the egg Quality, and verify the feasibility of the plan. The Demonstration Center not only demonstrates the recycling method of agricultural production, but also accepts appointments for visits and explanations by farmers. And hold 2 symposiums and 1 observation meeting, inviting domestic tomato and pumpkin producers, feed farms, livestock farms, and agricultural practitioners to participate in order to increase visibility and promote manufacturers' matching opportunities, with the goal of increasing the value-added utilization of agricultural by-products And increase the health of poultry, and build related technologies to promote the circular economy industry.
