Germplasm Development and Application of Aeridinae Orchids and Cattleya Alliance.
Completed the collection of 22 species of orchids, including Vanda, Rhynchostylis, Phalaenopsis, and Cattleya etc. The species were observed, and more than 35 hybrids were produced through intercrossing. The tissue culture seedlings of 20 intergeneric hybrids produced last year were taken out of flasks and grown in pots. In April, we selected hybrid offspring of fragrant Phalaenopsis, and one elite plant won the Fragrant Flower Excellence Award at TOGA's Review Meeting.
