Study on Condition of Seed Storage for Food Crops

The purpose of this project is to stabilize the supply and demand of domestic grain crop seeds in response to climate change, and to make effective use of seed refrigeration equipment subsidized by the government. , and through cross-county and city support and deployment, the efficiency of breeding fields can be more effectively improved. This study intends to investigate appropriate storage conditions for the seeds of major food crops, hoping to establish a seed safety storage mechanism, and provide storage conditions for food crops and the use of seeds after storage in the future. The standard operating procedure of the method can improve the utilization efficiency of farmers' stocks of seeds, reduce the loss of seeds due to improper storage, and can be used for the next phase of deployment in priority. The experimental result shows that priming procedures do not significantly affect the germinationrate of soybean. Lower storage temperature (10°C ) and longer storage time (200 days) will lead to higher electrical conductivity, while they do not cause significant effect on germination rate.
