The Promotion of Aboriginal Beans Crops Seed Saving System
- The average germination rate is 82.27%, among the 15 bean seeds, 5 had a germination rate of less than 80%, the ratio is 33.3%, It shows that the germination rate of aboriginal bean germplasm has shown a gradually improving trend in the past four years.
- In addition,the willingness of the aboriginal people in the participating areas to maintain and renew the bean crops seeds has slightly increased, but the insufficient storage environment of the seeds still needs to be improved. In addition, in order to increase farmers' willingness and motivation to seed saving, we have carried out education and publicity on seed conservation techniques for farmers on the preservation of healthy bean seeds.
